The Best Safety Gear

The Best Safety Gear

We are advocates of skateboard safety.  That is why we only sell the best brands in safety.  S1 Helmets & 187 Killer Pads are by far the safest and best quality you can buy for your kids.   We have fully tested others and by choice don't carry them because we can't stand behind them 100%. We stand behind both of these brands full force. Here's Why...

S1 HELMETS

We made a helmet that we would want to wear and that we could 100% recommend to family, friends and team riders. The S1 Lifer Helmet is constructed with Fusion Foam and is 5x more protective than soft foam skate helmets. The S1 Lifer Helmet is certified to help protect your head from low force multiple impacts (ASTM Standard) and single high impacts (CPSC Certified). We batch test every production to make sure the S1 Lifer Helmet meets and/or exceeds current helmet safety standards. Whether you like to ride a skateboard, bike, roller skates or scooter (non motorized) you know you are wearing the best. Great fit, Lightweight and Certified Protection = S1 Lifer Helmet.

187 Killer Pads

These pads are the industry best for safety and protection. Design and craftsmanship are proven in our product and trusted by the best skaters in the world. Pads have contoured form-fitting design, superior foam system absorbs high impact, streamline shape and design increases mobility, seamless interior finish provides ultimate comfort & minimal bulk.

You can always buy cheaper brands, but they won't last as long and the protection they'll give your child will be much less. In our opinion your childs head should not be an experiment!!!

Start Them Young

Posted by Sarah Kenworthy

Start Them Young

Start them young. Allowing kids to feel around on a skateboard basically as soon as they can walk, will increase their mobility, balance, and overall awareness of a skateboard. Indie, shown above started skating as soon as she could walk. At 3 years old, she is now learning to push by herself, kick turn, and drop in to small things. She is stoked on skating, and asks to go skating everyday. Getting the right size skateboard is crucial, you wouldn't let them ride your adult bike, so don't let them ride your adult skateboard. It makes a difference, trust us. Also, we have the best quality boards you can buy, and they are all specific to girls to really get them stoked!! Check out the graphics, we have everything from unicorns-mermaids.

Gnarly In Pink

Click Image To Watch Video..This was our first documentary we did. We were approached by two film students Kristelle Laroche & Ben Mullinkosson who thought we were rad for breaking down barriers. They did a short documentary on us and it won awards at the Tribeca Film Festival and more. To say it was an honor to do this project is an understatement.
